National Ringette League (NRL) Registration - Due May 25th

Over the past number of seasons Manitoba has hosted 2 teams who have participated in the National Ringette League’s (NRL) Western Conference. Team formation for the 2012-2013 season is currently under consideration.

All players (returning players, graduating U19 and Open players) who are interested in playing in the NRL must register and submit a $200.00 commitment bond by May 25th, 2012. NOTE: LATE REGISTRATION FEE IS $250.00 – NO EXCEPTIONS.

Upon receipt of all player registration forms and payments, the MRA NRL sub committee will review the number of registrants. By June 1, 2012 a decision will be made on the number of teams that the MRA will host.

Returning players are not guaranteed a position for the 2012-2013 season, tryouts will be held. After the completion of tryouts, new and returning players will either be contracted or released. No player will be allowed on to a team after the tryout dates or at any other time during the season unless approved by the MRA NRL sub committee.

It is the MRA’s intent to keep all registered players informed of all decisions regarding the 2012-2013 MRA NRL team(s) structure. The decision moving forward will not be taken lightly and all registered players will be informed.
