Ringette is an exciting unique winter sport, played mainly by females but open to all. Ringette is a non-contact sport where players use a straight stick with a specially designed tip and a hollow rubber, blue ring.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Winkler Camp is now full for Summer 2012. The MRA will still accept applications however they will be placed on a waiting list.

Winkler Summer Ringette Camp is an annual overnight camp held by the Manitoba Ringette Association.

Daily, your child will spend 3 hrs (half day) at the Arena (in Morden) where 1.5 hrs will be on the ice while the other 1.5 hrs will be spent doing dryland activities (running, Gym Ringette, off- ice shooting, etc). The other half of the day will be spent doing activities back at the camp.

Dates and Locations

LOCATION: Winkler Bible Camp(Winkler Bible Camp is located North of Winkler on Hwy #3)

DATE: August 26 – 31, 2012

AGE: 8-13 All levels

COST: $525.00 (Including GST)($50.00 rebate for camp moms participating for full week. First 12 cabin mom applicants will be accepted.)

APPLICATION DEADLINE: JUNE 1ST. NOTE: Winkler Camp is now full for Summer 2012. The MRA will still accept applications however they will be placed on a waiting list.

ICE SESSION: Daily ice sessions; complete schedule will be included in registration packages.

TRANSPORTATION: Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from each camp. Transportation in between the Arena and the Camp will be provided by bus for the duration of the camp.

How Do I Register?

1. Download the application(s) from our website. If you do not have access to the Internet, applicationscan be picked up at the MRA office or call us to mail/fax one to you..

2. Don’t forget to ask your Mom if she would like to come to camp too!

3. Mail or drop off your application and payment to: Manitoba Ringette Association145 PacificWinnipeg, MB R3B 2Z6

PAYMENT INFORMATION: Cheques should be made out to the Manitoba Ringette Association and can be post dated to May 1st. Payment must be included with the application for it to be valid.

REFUND POLICY: Refunds will only be honored for requests accompanied by a Doctor’s Certificate. There will be a 25% administration fee on all refunds. Deadline: No refunds will be honored after July 21st.

Note: The Winkler Bible Camp’s purpose and mandate will be expressed throughout the week with daily 45-minute singingand moral discussion sessions and skits. These sessions will be run by Winkler Bible Camp staff and all campers areexpected to participate.
