Ringette is an exciting unique winter sport, played mainly by females but open to all. Ringette is a non-contact sport where players use a straight stick with a specially designed tip and a hollow rubber, blue ring.
The goal of the High Performance program is to plan, coordinate and implement programs for AA, Canada Winter Games (CWG) (AAA) and National Ringette League. (NRL)
The development of Ringette in Manitoba is dependent upon coaches who in order to be effective, are required to have the appropriate qualifications and proper training.
The purpose of the officials is to provide clinics, on-ice evaluations and resources, which promote uniform interpretation and application of the rules.
To develop, encourage and promote Ringette for the enjoyment of all Manitobans through the provision of programs, services and resources that inform, educate and teach skills.
